Description

Outdoor Rope (Obstacle) Course

If you like physical and psychological challenges, want to experiment with group dynamics, want to improve your leadership and follower-ship skills, and want to meet like-minded men and women, then join a group of 40 people on Sunday April 29th when we challenge ourselves as a group, and as individuals, on the famous "Ropes Course."

The course has over 40 rope climbing and descending activities, both high and low, to challenge participants (check it out at www.ringhomesteadcamp.com.You are not required to do every activity if they freak you out. The course is inspected every year and is fully insured). Some activities allow for the opportunity to climb trees and repel from high wires. Upon arrival, the participants are divided into groups and are assigned a highly trained guide.

The fun is on even if it rains because the course is even more challenging when slippery!

We leave promptly at 10:00 am from Key West (750 Columbus Ave and 96th) on the Upper West side. It is about a 2 hour ride to Ring Homestead Camp (www.ringhomesteadcamp.com), the course is 4 hours, so we will be back in the city about 6:00 pm. Please bring lunch.

The cost is $30. Please make a checkout to “Jewish Outdoors Club” and mail to c/o Robby Berman, 430 East 86th Street, Apt 10b, New York, NY 10028.You can cancel and receive full refund up until April 19th. Those who are not driving will be asked the day of the event to reimburse drivers a recommended $7. Please let me know if you have a car.

This is going to be fun and challenging!
