Come volunteer for a morning in Riverside Park with friends from the Jewish Outdoors Club and other service minded organizations in the Jewish community, including the Coalition for Jewish Service
(www.jewishservice.com). We will be working in the gardens near thesoccer field at 106th Street inside the park.
MEETING TIME: June 10, 10 am-1 pm; PICNIC to follow, from 1-3
MEETING LOCATION: 10:00am at the 105 DOG RUN, circa 105th street inside the park. (For the picnic look for us near 108th Street inside the park after 1:00).
DIRECTIONS: Take the #1 or #9 to 110th Street, walk south two blocks until you hit 108th. Walk west on 108th until you hit Riverside Drive.
Cross the street and go down two sets of steps into the Park. Head
south on the promenade and we will be waiting for you in front of the Dog Run.
ATTIRE: Dress according to the weather and be prepared to get dirty! Best to remove jewelry, wear hair tied back, closed toe work shoes required.
BRING a non-perishable lunch and some picnic paraphenalia (frisbee,
sunscreen, blanket, drinks, etc.) There will not be a place to lock
extra bags, so please leave valuables at home. We will find an area in the park near where we are working to rest the lunches and watch over them collectively.
Be ready to whistle while you work... were gonna have a great time!

If you have not already RSVPd, you are still more than welcome! The larger our showing, the greater appreciation we show for the well tended greenery in our local parks.
We look forward to seeing you there!
