JOC Indoor Rock Climbing!

Climb to new heights in your life with the JOC!

For those of you who want to reach for new heights or to challenge the laws of gravity, this is the activity for you!  Twenty-five lucky people will have the chance to experience the thrill and excitement of indoor rock climbing on Sunday, Nov. 22nd between 12-2 at the Manhattan Plaza Health Club.

WHERE ARE WE GOING? The JOC will be climbing at the Manhattan Plaza Health Club climbing gym, which is located at 482 W. 43rd Street, New York , NY 10036 (between 9^th & 10^th Ave. ). The facilities have over 5000 square feet of climbing surface, including a 160 ft. bouldering route, two 20 ft. squeeze chimneys, and a host of other gravity defying challenges.

WHAT DOES IT COST? The cost is $25 and it includes a basic introduction to climbing, rental fees for climbing shoes and a safety harness, and approximately two hours of vertical fun.

HOW DO WE GET THERE? Run, walk, fly, drive or take the train. The climbing is in Manhattan so there is plenty of public transportation.
