Join the JOC “Ice Skating & Wine Tasting” @ Bear Mountain!! Feb 7th (Sun) Two great trips in one – outdoor ice skating and indoor wine tasting! Bear Mountain State Park has one of the most spectacular outdoor ice rinks in the U.S. The Royal Kedem Winery in the Hudson Valley region of Ulster County offers a great opportunity to taste and purchase (at a discount) kosher wines from around the world… just in time for Purim. There will be plenty of time for lunch (bring your own lunch & beverage) and socializing at the Kedem Winery. The JOC Bear Mountain Ice Skating & Winery Trip was one of our most popular events of the 2009 winter season. DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS AT THE WINERY, THIS TRIP IS LIMITED TO 70 PEOPLE, SO SIGN-UP ASAP IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE. We anticipate returning to the New York area with more than sufficient time for everyone to see the Super Bowl. We will set up carpooling leaving from the Upper West Side and surrounding areas at 8:00am for departure to Bear Mountain. After ice skating, we will head north for a 30-40 minute drive to the Royal Kedem Winery. The costs for this event are as follows: Ice Skating -- $4 Skate Rental -- $4 + $0.50 for optional locker. Wine Tasting -- $1, plus $$ if you wish to purchase wines. JOC Fee -- $4 Ride-Share for Non-Drivers -- $12 ($15 from Brooklyn & Queens) Please bring exact change, warm clothes, lunch, water and a good attitude. Awesome!! So how do I sign up?
