JOC Hiking & Pizza!! Nov 20th (this Sun!)

Come join the Jewish Outdoors Club this Sunday for a last minute easy hike at the "Closter Nature Center" (near the Palisades). The trail loops around the 136-acre Closter Nature Center.  Consider this a pleasant & easy hike (children welcome!), approximately 2.2 miles. The hike will be followed by Pizza in Teaneck!!

Schedule:

We meet this Sunday 11:45AM @ the Closter Nature Center (about 30 min from the Upper West Side) and plan to hit the trail 12PM Sharp. At about  1:30PM we will head out for Teaneck to E.J.'s Pizza for a late lunch on the way back to the city. We should be back in the city by around 3:30PM (give/take, depending on traffic).

Ride Share:

We will send out a spreadsheet as soon as we close registration with a list of drivers and their contact details. Passengers are expected to each reimburse their driver $9 for gas, tolls, and wear & tear…

Cost:

$3 JOC Fee plus However many Pizza's you can handle!!

Packing List:

Bring 2 liters of water, snacks, comfortable clothes ("you may consider extra layers depending on the weather") good hiking shoes, and a camera (optional).
