If you’ve ever hiked in Harriman/Bear Mountain State Park, you’ve likely passed right by – and perhaps not even noticed – two Revolutionary War Historic sites.  We will visit and get private guided group tours of Fort Montgomery Battlefield State Historic Site in the AM, and Stony Point Lighthouse Battlefield State Historic Site in the PM.  We will walk the battlefields; see period-costumed interpreters, soldier encampment reenactments and musket and cannon firing demonstrations (sorry – no hands-on participation!); get great views along the Hudson River; tour two museums; climb a lighthouse (for even better views); enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your own); and much more!

Stay tuned for more details and registration.
