If you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck this Labor Day weekend, our 4-5 day extravaganza is definitely the way to go!
 
The JOC is teaming up with Shumi & Yaakov to provide you with an awesome Labor Day weekend extravaganza at Camp Lavi, in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, just a few hours from NYC. Our unbeatable prices get you 3 nights/4 days (with an option to add on Thursday evening for a few dollars more) and all kosher meals, 24-hour tearoom plus outdoor activities galore to choose from. Out-door choices include water skiing, volley ball, zip lines, ropes courses, boating, rock climbing wall, tennis, basketball, baseball, swimming at pool and lake and more! There are various rooming options, starting at just $199, as well as round-trip bus transportation provided for just $55. (Prices will be going up soon, so sign up today!)

Schedule:
There will be a bus leaving from the Upper West Side of Manhattan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4. We will check you in on Friday, Sept. 4, starting at 12:00 p.m. (or Thursday, Sept. 3 starting at 4:00 p.m. if you are choosing that option). Snacks and drinks will be set up; no meals will be served until dinner. Outdoor activities will be available at all times, with specific activities scheduled as well. There will be optional minyanim and lectures throughout the weekend. There will be no speed or table dating, but we will arrange the dining room seating so that you have maximum chance to meet everyone. We will have use of the camp until Monday afternoon, Sept. 7, 4:00 p.m.
 
Transportation:
As drivers sign up, we will arrange carpools for as many passengers as possible. Passengers will be expected to reimburse their drivers $15 each way for their portion of gas/tolls and wear-and-tear on the car. There will be a bus leaving from the UWS of Manhattan at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 for an additional $55. Directions will be sent out as the weekend approaches. The camp strongly recommends using their directions (the ones we will be sending you) as so many people have gotten lost using mapquest, googlemaps and/or their GPS.
