Cost?

We are offering this full day of events to you for the special, limited time price of $29 until May 8. After 5/8, the price goes up to $37. Check it out, no inflation!  This includes your choice of leveled hike, BBQ lunch, and afternoon workshop.

Cancellation policy: Because of the reservations necessary to make this event a success, we cannot offer any refunds after May 8.  Heavy rain will cancel, but in case of all other weather we are ON.

Who's in the crowd?

Typical attendees are between ages 21-45.  Some members are married, many are not.  We are a relaxed, welcoming and "non-New York-ish" group of people who love to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Please notice that this is NOT a "singles event."  We have NO matchmakers or speed dating.
Come with an OPEN MIND, and you just might make some new friends who share your interest in the outdoors.

How many?

This year, the event is capped at 200 participants. In the past, we have had a wait list of more than 50 people. We suggest registering soon, or else keeping an eye on the eventbrite site to see how many spots are left.

Note: Last opportunity to register is midnight on Monday, May 16. Don’t wait to sign up!

Manhattan: The JOC Party Bus will offer round-trip transportation from the Upper West Side of Manhattan returning to NYC at ~6:00 PM (nominal cost of $24)

**Be prepared to reimburse your driver $15 for gas, tolls & wear ‘n tear.  We love our drivers—don’t make them beg!
