Join the JOC for our annual “Bear Mountain Ice Skating & Wine Tasting” trip on Sunday, Feb. 20^th!

Two great trips in one – outdoor ice skating and indoor wine tasting!  Bear Mountain State Park has one of the most spectacular outdoor ice rinks in the U.S.  The Royal Kedem Winery in the Hudson Valley region of Ulster County offers a great opportunity to taste and purchase (at a discount) kosher wines from around the world (get ready for Purim!).  There will be plenty of time for lunch (bring your own) and socializing at the Kedem Winery.

The JOC Bear Mountain Ice Skating & Winery Trip is one of our most popular winter events of the year.  DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS AT THE WINERY, THIS TRIP IS LIMITED TO 70 PEOPLE, SO SIGN-UP ASAP IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE.

We will be carpooling from the Upper West Side and surrounding areas at 8:00am for departure to Bear Mountain.  After ice skating, we will head north for a 30-40 minute drive to the Royal Kedem Winery, where we will also eat lunch. 

The ice skating session is 10am-11:30am.  Admission is $4 and skate rental is $4.  The Kedem Winery is free, but we suggest you bring money to purchase some of their great wines, chocolates and/or other products.

The JOC fee for this trip is $3 and the suggested rideshare for non-drivers is $15 to cover gas, tolls and parking at Bear Mountain.
