Description
What: Guided Snow Shoeing
When: Sunday, March 13, 2011—Weather Permitting
Time: 10:00 AM
Where: Location TBA based upon weather conditions but not more than 2 hours from NYC
Organizers: Sarah & Yitzy Korman
Cost: $70 per person plus $20 if you need to rent the gear (so that’s $90 plus paypal fees). Cost could potentially be less if we have a group of more than 10—so get your friends to sign up as well!
What is snowshoeing? It’s kinda like hiking in the snow with special gear (you rent snowshoes and optional poles).
How does it work? Once registration has closed and the snow conditions have been confirmed, the exact location will be sent out in an email to the participants. Information on who is driving, when and where they are leaving from and how much room they have in their cars will be shared. Once the location has been determined we will let you know how much the driver appreciation fee will be. All information will be confirmed by Thursday.
I never went snowshoeing before. Should I be nervous? No! We will have a guide with us for the duration of the event. So if you love winter events and are sad that the season is ending, and you have a sense of adventure, join us!
