Description
Dearfellow horseback riders,
HaveI got a ride for you!
Manyof us have been chomping at the bit for a chance to do some real riding… andour moment has finally arrived!
Wehave made arrangements with Double D Guest Ranch near the Delaware Water Gap totake us for a half-day ride in Footbridge Park, which means 3+ hours of realriding with a break for lunch in the middle.
Soundlike fun?
Readon for details:
WHEN? Sunday, June 19, 2011. Our ride begins at 10:00 AM at the beginning of the trail. Be on time so you don’t miss your ride!
STABLEDETAILS: Double D Guest Ranch http://www.doubledguestranch.com/Programs.htm.
MUSTI BE AN EXPERIENCED RIDER?
Nope. All are welcome, as long as you don’t mind the smell of horse.
Noteto new riders: 3 hours in the saddlecan become painful for the uninitiated. If you are considering this for your first ride, it may be wise tochoose a shorter trip for getting your feet wet.
WILLIT BE A BORING TRAILRIDE?
Thatdepends on your definition of ‘boring.’ Every trail ride does depend on thetrail guides’ comfort that all riders can hold on safely. That confidence will vary based onexperience and expertise of the participants of a particular ride.
Wewill be a group of 15 riders, divided into smaller groups based roughly byability. This means that if the trail guide for your group determines everyoneis able to trot, you’ll have that chance! (Maybe even canter…. )
HOWMUCH:
$106if confirm before Sunday, June 12, $123 thereafter (depending onavailability).
